| FEBRUARY NEWSLETTER February Vacation No Classes February 15 – February 21 TUITION INSTALLMENT #6 IS DUE Just a reminder that payment #6 of 10 is due by February 1st. Also a reminder that there are 3 payments left after February for anyone making monthly installments (March 1, April 1, May 1) Recital Tickets may not be purchased in May until your final payment is made. SNOW POLICY REMINDER Just a reminder that if the Medway Schools are closed due to snow, our morning classes will be cancelled. All other classes should check the studio answering machine (533-9171) 1 hour prior to your class time for further cancellations. Snow days may be made up by attending another class. BACKSTAGE MOMS ARE NEEDED FOR EVERY CLASS We are beginning our search for Backstage Moms for the recital! We will be looking for 2 moms in each class who are able to fully commit to several important tasks within their child’s class. Every year we look for Backstage Moms to be in charge of their child’s class during recital weekend. We would like to pick 2 moms from each class to stay up to date on all recital, rehearsal and party info from now through recital (Preschool – Level 2). Moms are also needed to be with the older girls as a whole group. See below: Class Mom Responsibilities: 1. Be available to stay with class during dress rehearsal 2. Be available to stay backstage with class during recital and bring her group onstage when it is time to dance 3. Answer questions from other parents in class between now and recital 4. Help other parents with instruction on costume alterations, tights, shoes, hair, etc. 5. Be available to help in class during the last 2 weeks of classes so that she is able to line up girls quickly and smoothly in preparation of the recital Please return the bottom of this form by March 1st if you are able to commit to these responsibilities & dates and would like to be considered for a Backstage Mom position! Thank you for your help! Backstage Moms will receive 2 complimentary tickets to the show for volunteering their services backstage since they cannot see the show from the audience. If dad is not available please bring another significant male figure (Grandpa, Uncle, etc.) Tickets will be on sale from Monday, February 22nd – Saturday, February 28th FUNKY FEBRUARY WORKSHOP Sunday, February 21st 9 a.m. – Noon Levels 3, 4 & Advanced $15.00 per student Join Miss Jennifer & Miss Kelly for an intensive morning of flexibility & dance. Students will begin with an hour of intense flexibility training followed by an hour of Musical Theater and an hour of Lyrical Dance. Space is limited.
