| NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER 2009 Thanksgiving Break The studio will be closed Wednesday, November 25th – Sunday, November 29th which means no classes for our little Turkeys! Enjoy your holiday& have a safe weekend! November Tuition Due (Payment #3) & Costume Payments are Past Due Just a friendly reminder that tuition is due BY the first day of each month. $10.00 Late fee and no discounts after the 1st day of the month. Please see the office staff if you have any questions. Costume payments were also due for EVERY student by October 15th. Please make your payment promptly so we may order your child’s costume. Measurements have been taken. ENROLLMENT FOR CLASSES IS CLOSED Any students wishing to add a class or switch to another class must do so now. We are closing enrollment for all classes on November 15th. ATTENDANCE Attendance is taken at each class – any classes missed should be made up by arranging a make-up class with the instructor. Remember, no make up classes are available in May. If you knowyou will miss a class for vacations, school trips, etc., try to make it up prior to the missed class. Don’t forget that AttendDance Awards are given out at the end of the year! Christmas Party and Secret Santa Gift Exchange. The Medway Dance Authority will host a Christmas Holiday party on Sunday, December 13th from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Elk’s Hall in Franklin. We rent the hall and provide music and entertainment for our students. Parents are asked to stay with our younger (Preschool – Level 1) students, and are asked to remind our older students to be on their best behavior. A sign up sheet will be at the studio in the weeks before the party for our families to volunteer their time setting up and/or cleaning up as well as bringing a snack or beverage to the party. The Gift Exchange is for any student who would like to participate. Students should bring a $5.00 gift for the gift exchange appropriate for other students of the same age and we will play a fun game where students exchange gifts. Please try to stay as close to the $5.00 mark as possible so that the exchange is fair for all participants. Please wrap your gift but do not put a name on it. SNOW DAYS Please call the studio 1 hour prior to your scheduled class for studio closings. If the Medway Schools are closed due to SNOW we will cancel morning Preschool classes. Please call 533-9171 for later classes & updates to studio closings.
